You will be working for a leading construction specialist dedicated to creating high-quality Residential & Commercial builds. The business has been operating for over 45 years and offers a full turnkey solution to clients and is committed to delivering projects to the highest of standard. Our client employs over 500 people and has seen rapid grown over the last 6 years and even over the last few months has managed to secure several large projects.
About the role:
The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing site teams on a Residential Apartment build project. You will report into the Senior Project Manager and ensure work is delivered on time to the high standards expected.
Responsibilities:
Managing Quality and OHS compliance
Implement the construction programming
Ensure time restraints are adhered to
Managing staff effectively, leading the site team in achieving project and individual goals
Read and interpret detailed site plans
Scheduling of works and deliveries
Site set out and mark out
Skills and Experience:
Experience in the local Australian construction market
Experience on Commercial / Residential projects valued at $35M +
5 years Previous experience as a Site Manager
Carpentry trade qualified preferable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead and coordinate site personnel
Thorough understanding of WHS and site safety
