About the Organisation & Position 
Providing therapy services to children in-clinic and the across the Adelaide community, with the goal to empower children and their families to achieve their greatest potential. Our client prides themselves on their neurodiversity affirming practice, with a sole focus on child and family-centred therapy.

Work as part of a highly experienced paediatric team, with children who experience emotional and social challenges, as well as developmental and physical disabilities. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will lead and provide clinical support to a team of junior clinicians as part of your working week. 
  • Developing and evaluating therapy sessions for children (3 - 15 years old) 
  • Providing therapy sessions within the child's preferred environment or within the clinic 
  • Providing education to families and teachers on therapy goals and recommendations to achieve client outcomes 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Collaborating in a close-knit multidisciplinary team to achieve client outcomes
  • Providing fortnightly supervision and mentoring to junior clinicians 
  • Providing educational workshops to the wider team 
  • Partaking in leadership meetings

Essential Criteria 
  • Bachelor / Masters of Occupational Therapy 
  • Current AHPRA registration - no limitations 
  • Current Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screen Check 
  • Current National Police Clearance & Drivers License 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with paediatric clients 
  • Child and family-centered approach to therapy 
  • A passion for empowering the lives of children & families
  • A passion for educating and supporting junior clinicians
