About the company: This is a specialist surveying company who have been in operation for over twenty-five years and offer their services throughout Australia. They cover a wide range of surveying for different industries including roads, bridges, rail, construction surveys as well as GPS works and detailed surveys. With a wealth of expertise behind them, they continue to evolve and expand.
About the Role: We are seeking a Surveyor to work on civils, rail & road construction projects in Perth and occasionally on a FIFO/DIDO basis.
Duties: - Reporting to the Survey Manager
- Managing the project from site
- Client liaison
- Attend site meetings
- Coordinating daily workloads
- Conduct daily surveys
- Upload captured data
- Maintain survey equipment
- Keep a good line of communication with head office
- Maintaining a high level of OH&S
About the Requirements: - Formal Surveying qualifications
- Ideally have 3+ years survey knowledge
- civil and construction experience is desirable
- Be calm under pressure
- Must be presentable in front of a client
- Proficient with Total Station and GPS equipment
- Experience of using software such as 12d
- Can form effective site relationships
- Lead by example on site
