About the Organisation & Position on Offer
Work for an established paediatric therapy provider in the heart of Adelaide, providing assessments and ongoing therapy services to children with development delays and various disabilities for over two decades. The organisation offers onsite facilities, with the team working closely with families, teachers and other medical professionals to ensure they can provide the best environment to overcome challenges that may prevent children from functioning optimally, independently and confidently in everyday life settings.
The organisation as a whole aim is to empower their clinicians to greater professional competence so they can become the best therapist they can be whilst changing lives on a daily basis. The team are currently looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join them on either a full time or part time basis. As this is a clinic based role your main focus will be mentoring and developing the team of therapists around you, to ensure they are positively impacting the lives of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing improved clinical service delivery across your division
- Helping support clinicians within the new graduate program
- Managing a reduced caseload of your own, with calendar flexibility
- Conducting 1:1 and group supervision/mentoring sessions
- Helping create new resources & service delivery programs
- Planning regular professional development team training sessions

What We Need From You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration, WWCC and NPC
- Minimum 3 years experience working with Paediatrics
- Ability work within a team and individually
- Experience or desire to support, supervise and mentor
- Experience with ASD, Developmental delays & Sensory processing
