Senior Consultant - Construction Claims & Advisory – Perth

We are currently recruiting for a leading international consultancy that’s growing its Perth office. You will have the opportunity to work closely with industry-leading directors who are committed to training and developing your expertise in the world of construction disputes.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Supporting contract administration, including validation of progress claims, assessment of variations, and ensuring alignment with contractual obligations
  • Contributing to the analysis of detailed cost reports and budget tracking, delivering clear and data-driven insights to senior leaders
  • Assisting with final account preparation, post-construction reconciliations, and cost close-out activities
  • Collaborating closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality, client-facing outputs across both live and retrospective assignments
  • Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality across all documentation and deliverables
  • Review project records—such as contracts, programmes, correspondence, site records and cost documents—and extract relevant facts.
  • Assist with delay analysis by updating schedules, comparing planned and actual progress, and identifying potential causes of delay for senior review.
  • Help prepare draft claim assessments, reports, presentations and responses to questions from clients or legal teams.
  • Coordinate information requests and follow up with project teams, clients, lawyers and technical specialists.
  • Assist with mediation, adjudication, arbitration or litigation preparation, under supervision
What We’re Looking For:
  • A relevant construction degree and ideally 2-4 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Previous dealings with contracts or Claims. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An eye for detail 
  • Grounded professionalism with drive to progress
