Key Responsibilities 
  • Mentor and support junior and developing PBS practitioners.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the PBS team through training, supervision, and innovation.
  • Support children and adults with disabilities to achieve their goals by increasing quality of life and reducing or eliminating restrictive practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans based on functional behaviour assessments.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice support
Key Selection Criteria 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education 
  • Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW) 
  • Registered as a Proficient, Advanced or Specialist practitioner with NDIS
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients & a sound knowledge of the NDIS 
  • Experience in providing supervision, training & guidance to practitioners
