Key Responsibilities - Mentor and support junior and developing PBS practitioners.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the PBS team through training, supervision, and innovation.
- Support children and adults with disabilities to achieve their goals by increasing quality of life and reducing or eliminating restrictive practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans based on functional behaviour assessments.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice support
Key Selection Criteria - Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education
- Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW)
- Registered as a Proficient, Advanced or Specialist practitioner with NDIS
- Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients & a sound knowledge of the NDIS
- Experience in providing supervision, training & guidance to practitioners
