About the Role
As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with a diverse client group to develop and deliver evidence-based positive behaviour support (PBS) plans that improve quality of life and promote independence. You will also play a key leadership role, providing practice and/or clinical supervision to other Behaviour Support Practitioners within the team.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement high-quality positive behaviour support plans for NDIS participants
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop strategies to reduce restrictive practices
- Provide practice or clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior and mid-level practitioners
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of service delivery through leadership and innovation
Key Selection Criteria: - Assessed by the NDIS Commission at Proficient level or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experience in the provision of practice or clinical supervision to other practitioners (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Eligibility for Medicare registration (desirable)
- Strong commitment to person-centred practice and improving client outcomes
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report writing skills
