What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the identification, assessment, and analysis of project risks across the lifecycle of major infrastructure and defence projects
  • Developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks, strategies, and mitigation plans
  • Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate risk workshops, validate risk registers, and integrate risk considerations into project planning
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, scenario planning, and contingency development
  • Preparing clear, tailored reporting and client-ready deliverables (risk reports, dashboards, presentations) on risk exposure and mitigation effectiveness
  • Identifying opportunities for value enhancement and proactive risk reduction within project portfolios
  • Applying best-practice risk management methodologies and project controls principles
What They’re Looking For
  • 6-10+ years in risk management/project controls roles within construction, infrastructure, or defence sectors
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Risk Management, or similar
  • Strong grounding in risk management principles, methodologies (e.g., ISO 31000), and their application in complex projects
  • Advanced experience using risk management software (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, Safran Risk)
  • Confident communicator with experience facing clients and managing expectations
  • Someone comfortable leading tasks autonomously while supporting junior team members
  • Understanding of project controls frameworks and broader project management principles
  • Consultancy experience is a strong advantage.
