About the company: This is a surveying company and has been in operation for nearly 20 years. They operate throughout Australia specialising in infrastructure, rail and mine surveys.
About the Role: Having recently secured a several new rail projects, we are seeking a number of Surveyors to work on rail shutdowns, rail contour and detail surveys. The works will be based in central Queensland and you will be required to travel to these projects from your base at any one of our offices across Qld.
About the Duties: - Report to Survey Manager
- Conduct daily surveys
- Upload data
- Use the latest surveying equipment & software
- You will work both in teams and also autonomously
- Liaise with the clients and contractors
- Be able to plan workloads
- Have the ability to work in changing environments
- Keep accurate site records
About the Requirements: - Formal Surveying qualifications
- Ideally have 3+ years’ experience
- Rail experience would be an advantage
- Experience of using survey software - 12d knowledge is desirable
- Being a team player
- Strong communications
- Good IT skills
- Be available for both local and DIDO work
- Have enthusiasm and the desire to progress
