Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver behaviour support services under the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop person-centred, culturally responsive behaviour support and interim plans
  • Implement strategies that reduce behaviours of concern and prevent restrictive practices
  • Collaborate with families, support networks, and allied health professionals
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to core practitioners
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies based on outcomes
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate, timely documentation


Key Selection Criteria
  • Proficient or above under the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework (minimum 3 years’ experience)
  • Degree in Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioural Science
  • Proven record in conducting FBAs and writing high-quality PBS plans
  •  In-depth understanding of the NDIS, restrictive practices, and ethical behavior support approaches
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a commitment to participant outcomes
