About the Organisation and Position 
We’re looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to step into a State Clinical Team Leader position with a growing allied health organisation delivering services across Aged Care, Community and NDIS. This is a genuinely varied leadership opportunity combining clinical leadership, team development, operational oversight and stakeholder engagement, without taking you completely away from clinical practice.

The role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from home while travelling across Melbourne and regional areas when required. The opportunity As the State Clinical Lead you’ll provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary allied health team across Victoria. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to maintain high standards of clinical care, support and develop clinicians, strengthen service delivery and help shape new programs as the organisation grows. 

Key Duties: 
  • Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary allied health team
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to clinicians
  • Supporting clinical quality, governance and evidence-based practice
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, rostering and workforce planning
  • Supporting clinician performance, development and retention
  • Maintain & build relationships with relevant stakeholders and referral partners
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new programs and services
  • Supporting continuous improvement across clinical and operational processes
  • Providing occasional clinical backfill to the clinical team when required

Key Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience across acute, Aged Care and/or NDIS environments
  • Previous experience supervising, mentoring or leading clinicians
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with performance management and supporting clinician development
  • An understanding of Aged Care and NDIS funding models
  • Strong clinical governance and compliance awareness
  • A current Victorian driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • A genuine passion for quality clinical care and developing people

This isn't a leadership role where you'll simply manage a spreadsheet and chase numbers. You'll be close to the clinicians, close to the clinical work and involved in the decisions that shape how services are delivered.
