About the role 
In this newly created & unique position as the PBS Consultant you will leverage your clinical PBS skills & experience and lead the effective implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans across the organisations services, ensuring high-quality, consistent & person-centred support for clients with behaviours of concern is provided. 

As the subject matter for PBS within the organisation, you will support frontline teams to understand, apply & review behaviour strategies in line with best practices, legislation & organisational values. 

Key selection criteria 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, PBS, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education 
  • Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW) 
  • Registered PBS Practitioner with NDIS 
  • Demonstrated experience as a PBS Practitioner (1.5 years minimum) 
  • Understanding of the reporting processes to the quality & safeguarding commission regarding restrictive practices & reportable incidents
  • Willingness/eagerness to work in a non-billing role
