Key responsibilities
You will be joining a multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Social Worker (AASW Accredited) who works closely with clients aged 0-18 who present with a variety of mental health conditions and disabilities with an aim to empower them and help them reach their goals.
- Collaborate closely within a genuine multidisciplinary team.
- Advocate for clients and their families, ensuring they have access to the appropriate resources and support.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct both group and individual psychotherapy sessions.
- Uphold high ethical standards in line with professional guidelines
Selection criteria - Tertiary degree in social work or a related field.
- Holds registration with AASW.
- Is eligible for Medicare registration.
- Right to Work in Australia (e.g., Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident.
- NDIS workers screening and Workers Children's Check
- Experience within NDIS/ Disability
- Desire to make a positive difference in the life of children & their families.
