About the role
As a Mental Health Registered Nurse you will provide 1:1 health education to young people on topics such as mental, physical, and sexual health, substance use, body image, nutrition, exercise, immunisations, and wellbeing. The role includes conducting health checks (within scope), supporting the multidisciplinary team, and escalating concerns to services or guardians. You will work with GPs to meet young people’s health needs, advocate for their health awareness, and provide clinical care based on evidence-based practices. Additional responsibilities include maintaining case records, ensuring compliance with legislation, and participating in clinical reviews and risk management meetings.

About you - Current Registration as Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in delivering mental health services to clients of varying backgrounds
- Nursing Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health is highly desirable
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current drivers license
- Current and up to date relevant compliances
