About the Organisation & Position
Local to New South Wales, this Allied Health provider offers therapy services and assessments to clients across the lifespan living with psychosocial disabilities, mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities and complex support needs. The leadership team places a strong focus on clinician wellbeing, professional development and creating a collaborative and supportive workplace for all clinicians. 

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for mental health and psychosocial disability to join a growing team in a senior capacity. Working primarily with adults, you will support participants to build independence, improve daily functioning, develop routines, strengthen community participation and achieve meaningful life goals. Working within community settings or within a highly equipped clinic space. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Psychosocial Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Recovery-oriented Occupational Therapy interventions
  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies
  • Community participation and social engagement
  • Complex report writing and NDIS documentation
  • Providing support & mentoring to junior clinicians where required

About You
  
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy 
  • AHPRA registration - no limitations or supervision requirements 
  • Experience working within the scope of Mental Health & Psychosocial Disabilities 
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice
  • Experience completing FCA's and complex reports
  • Passion for improving outcomes for adults clients 
  • Current driver's licence and vehicle
