About The Role 

Working within the Psychosocial/Mental Health Program, the social worker/mental health worker is responsible for providing a holistic service to indigenous & non-indigenous individuals experiencing persistent mental health issues that impact their everyday living & functional capacity. 

You will be responsible for conducting assessments & interventions also providing high-quality psychoeducation, psychotherapies, assertive support & follow ups and play a vital role in collaborating with internal & external stakeholders/services to ensure client's needs are met in an engaging & professional manner. You will also provide support coordination services to clients on the NDIS to help them reach their goals. 

Key Selection Criteria 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Mental Health 
  • Full registration with relevant membership body (AASW etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting people with mental health issues
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • New graduates passionate about supporting people with mental health issues also encouraged to apply
