About the company: The company has been in operation for over fifteen years and are an award winning surveying consultancy who operate within the civil engineering, transport and infrastructure sectors. With a large order book of work, they are continuing to expand their already well-established brand.
About the Role: We are seeking two Surveyors to work on a large-scale civil infrastructure project in regional NSW. This will suit someone looking for a change and is keen to get experience in meaningful projects away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Works include setting out bolts, pins, gridlines, roads, kerbs, underground services etc.
Duties: - Reporting to the Survey Manager
- Planning workloads/days
- Working in a team
- Liaising with clients and contractors
- Reading plans
- Conducting daily surveys
- Managing survey equipment & software
- Keeping accurate data records
- Equipment calibration
- Upkeep of vehicle
About the Requirements: - Formal Surveying qualifications
- Have the desire to work in regional NSW
- Previous experience on infrastructure projects & construction set out
- Experience of being a Lead Surveyor or Field Party Leader is desirable
- Proficient with Leica Total Station & GPS
- Be competent with setting out duties
- Experience of using software such as Magnet Office
- Have the ability to work to deadlines
- Have effective communication skills
- Drivers licence
