Key responsibilities
- Conduct trauma-informed assessments & deliver a range of therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents & families
- Conduct age-specific risk assessments, including assessment of self-harm, suicide risk & behavioural risk
- Deliver early intervention support for young people with emerging mental health concerns
- Work with & engage key stakeholders in care planning, therapy work & risk assessments when required
- Collaborate & liaise with schools, youth agencies, paediatric services & more to support integrated, coordinated care
Key selection criteria - Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Mental Health Nurse or Psychologist
- Current registration with AASW as a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
- Demonstrated experience working within the mental health sector, delivering therapeutic interventions & assessments for children and/or adolescents
- Experience working collaboratively with families, caregivers, schools, child protection etc.
