Key Responsibilities - Manage and deliver behaviour support services under the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs)
- Develop person-centred, culturally responsive behaviour support and interim plans
- Implement strategies that reduce behaviours of concern and prevent restrictive practices
- Collaborate with families, support networks, and allied health professionals
Key Selection Criteria - NDIS Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core & above)
- Degree in Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioural Science or similar
- Demonstrated experience working as a PBS Practitioner
- In-depth understanding of the NDIS, restrictive practices, and ethical behavior support approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
