Key Responsibilities - Conduct assessments, Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
- Implement, monitor, and review person-centred, culturally responsive interventions
- Support and liaise with families, carers, schools, and allied health teams to ensure cohesive implementation of strategies
- Develop and submit Restrictive Practice Reports via the NDIS Commission portal
- Maintain clear and accurate session notes, progress records, and reports
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision
- Facilitate client and stakeholder training as needed
Key Selection Criteria - NDIS Approval as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced level)
- Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, OT, Speech Pathology, or related field
- Experience developing PBS plans and conducting FBAs
