Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Implement, monitor, and review person-centred, culturally responsive interventions
  • Support and liaise with families, carers, schools, and allied health teams to ensure cohesive implementation of strategies
  • Develop and submit Restrictive Practice Reports via the NDIS Commission portal
  • Maintain clear and accurate session notes, progress records, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision
  • Facilitate client and stakeholder training as needed
Key Selection Criteria
  • NDIS Approval as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced level)
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, OT, Speech Pathology, or related field
  • Experience developing PBS plans and conducting FBAs
