Key responsibilities - Undertaking comprehensive functional behaviour assessments
- Developing and implementing individualised, person-centered positive behaviour support plans
- Reducing challenging behaviours and working towards the reduction or elimination of restrictive practices
- Working cooperatively with families and the broader allied health team to ensure best practice service delivery
Key selection criteria - Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health or relevant work experience
- Registered PBS practitioner with NDIS (any level)
- Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients & a sound knowledge of the NDIS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
