Key Duties: 
  • Conduct comprehensive behaviour assessments
  • Develop, implement and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Deliver psychosocial supports aligned with NDIS goals and funding
  • Work collaboratively with families, Support Coordinators and allied health professionals
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines, restrictive practice regulations and quality standards
  • Complete timely documentation, progress notes and reporting

Key selection criteria 
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education 
  • Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW) 
  • Assessed by NDIS as a PBS practitioner (Proficient & above)
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients
  • Experience working within the NDIS/disability sector 
  • Drivers License, WWCC, National Police Clearance and own car
