Associate Director - Cost Management

• Lead the delivery of complex, large-scale projects across the government, defense, and infrastructure sectors.
• Drive strategic business development and maintain executive-level relationships with key ACT stakeholders.
• Provide high-level commercial governance, procurement strategy, and risk management advice.
• Oversee the financial performance of the Canberra business unit, ensuring profitability and growth.
• Act as a mentor and coach to the cost and wider team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.

About You

• Extensive experience in cost management or commercial advisory within a consultancy environment.
• A proven track record of leading large teams and delivering major capital programs ($100m+).
•  A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Chartered status (MRICS / AIQS / CPPM) or equivalent senior professional standing.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to influence at the C-suite and government executive levels.
