About the Position
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families, whilst supporting and assisting the development of junior allied health clinicians. You'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team of leaders who value your professional growth, well-being, and the importance of authentic, strengths-based practice.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to a small team
- Support staff wellbeing, performance, and development
- Liaise with leadership team on staffing, resourcing, and team needs
- Maintain a reduced clinical caseload so you can prioritise leadership duties
- Deliver relationship-based, neuroaffirming therapy
- Liaise with families, schools, and other key stakeholders
What We Need From You - Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
- Current AHPRA registration or Speech Pathology Australia certification
- Current Working with Children Check & Police Check
- Current NDIS Work Screening Check & current drivers license
- Experience providing support and mentoring to junior clinicians
- Passion for providing child & family-centred therapy
- Knowledge or willingness to learn neuroaffirming practices
- Minimum 3 years experience
