About the role 

The organisation are looking for an experienced and engaging Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their highly regarded and diverse team to develop and deliver a person centered approach evidence based support plans within a complex support space. 

Within this role you will be required to ensure that your NDIS clients goals are met using the positive behaviour support framework, making sure that these plans will promote their quality of life. Conducting assessments, developing and implementing behaviour support plans to your clients within the community. 

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Assessed by NDIS being at core or above level as a PBS practitioner 
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements.
  • Experienced working with people with a disability or working in mental health, OR Bachelor Degree related to Positive Behaviour Support i.e. Psychology degree.
  • COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate, inclusive of mandated booster vaccinations as directed by State Government and NDIS mandates.
  • High level of verbal and written skills.
